Served as Software Architect and Systems Technical Partner, designing and delivering a custom hotel room booking and availability engine. Successfully resolved computational overhead bottlenecks where early queries required significant time to evaluate multi-factor availability and pricing variables.
Following initial deployment, engineered a Rapid Application Development (RAD) MVC framework to support feature iterations and system scaling. The resulting platform served as the core infrastructure for multiple agencies managing inventory and distribution channels.

- ->Query Restructuring: Addressed query latency bottlenecks for room searches and dynamic calculations. Refactored the data layer using optimized relational schemas and pre-computed MySQL database views to flatten multi-factor retrieval paths.

Managed data ingestion fragmentation. Built abstraction layers to standardize inconsistent incoming formats—ranging from direct Global Distribution System (GDS) API integration streams to manual email text copies and unformatted Excel inventory spreadsheets. Designed the administrator backend to normalize these pipelines into a single availability ledger.

- ->Data Layer Acceleration: Addressed the computational limitations of relational joins by restructuring table indexing strategies and moving pricing formulas into indexed database views. This architecture pre-sorted baseline inventory state changes, bypassing real-time mathematical delays during search queries.
- ->Algorithmic Abstraction of Room Logic: Designed an evaluation engine to parse vendor parameters. Built conditional validation blocks to process restrictive operational variables—including hard Stop Sale blocks, time-restricted Early Bird logic, and Last-Minute discount windows.
- ->Heterogeneous Data Ingestion: Standardized fragmented source data paths. Rather than building tightly-coupled importers for every hotel format, introduced a structural translation middleware layer. This layer parsed diverse incoming data structures (structured GDS XML payloads, flat Excel files, and unstructured email inputs) and transformed them into a normalized domain model.
